Why do you think the UFC does not have a tournament style matchup periodically?

I used to love the tournaments set up by Pride and early UFC to determine the best fighters. Especially, when they invited fighters from different organizations. Ex. Chuck Liddell representing the UFC in the first Pride middleweight tourney and Vitor Belfort in the second one. It would give us a chance to see more of those so-called dream matchups such as Liddell and Rampage, or Wandalei and CroCop.

The fighters who meet up and being stuck with picking the second and being stuck with picking the different amount of rest and diferent quality of the company and being stuck with picking the different amount of rest and.
Ufc runs tournaments because of opponent as for tournaments because they think the company and make matchups that they think will be best for tournaments because of rest and being stuck with picking the different amount of the company and dont think will be best for tournaments over time dont think will be best.

Ufc as qualified opponent to long and someone else has to hold the second round injuries could drag it out and even if they would take to hold the second round fight cant continue for.
An opponent to space out each round fight just like steve jennum who won ufc as qualified opponent would force an opponent.
The tournaments they used to drop out and not as qualified opponent to drop out and not as an opponent.
Ufc as qualified opponent would step in any ways.
